Pitong buwan na ang nakalipas since dumating kaming mag ina dito America. Madami nang nangyari at nabago sa buhay namin. Anim na buwan na ang dinadala ko at until now I dont know kung boy or girl sya kasi mahal ang ultrasound dito kung wala kang Insurance. Buti na lang at na-approved ako sa government sponsored insurance kaya mura na babayaran namin at payable pa ng 12 months, o di ba ayos. Sa weds na ang check ko sa bago kung OB at sana din maka-sched na ako ng ultrasound,hirap dito kasi lahat dapat naka-appointment ka. Sana lang pede akong mag normal delivery ....

We went to San Francisco last June 8,2007 to visit Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, Aquarium of the Bay and the Golden Gate. It was a cold sunny afternoon in Fisherman's Wharf. But when we reached Golden Gate, its a cold and foggy afternoon. It is a very cold experienced.

4th of July Fireworks

It's our first time to celebrate the 4th July here in US, we are excited about the fireworks display. We want to watch the fireworks in San Francisco but our friend suggested not to go because of the traffic, so we went to shoreline instead. The Parking Fee is expensive $10 for every car. We got that early and get a good spot. We are anxiously waiting for the fireworks but it started late because the sun is still up. The fireworks started aroung 10:30 pm. The fireworks is Ok, but not that extravagant, maybe because I'm compairing it to Pyro Olympics held in the Philippines.

Sensya na kayo at now lang ako naka email. Nag adjust pa ako sa time and place . Saka mega housewife ako here luto breakfast,baon ni edwin, alaga sa anak , linis, hugas, paliguan si keogh, pasyal sa park at grocery. Hirap tumunganga kakahiya .

So here is my kwento, 2PM (june 9 MLA time) nasa NAIA airport kami, drop by lang ko ng parents and Mother in law, may iyakan. Pagpasok airport 1 big luggage bag,1 balikbayan box, isang bag na malaki at 2 hand carry. So timbangan na, ang siste yung balikbayan box ko nag excess ng 1 kilo di pinalusot pinabawasan at nilipat ko sa isang bag, ang kaso yung balikbayan box ko is puno ng tape, hayyy nag tanggal pa ako ng tape buti na lang may nag assist sa akin na airport crew, di naman nya ako iniwan, naging dala kong gamit is 1 balikbayan box,1 big luggage bag,1 big bag and 1 backpack. And ofcourse my 2 hand carry. Eto naman ang problem yung hand carry ko daw di pede kasi medyo bulky nagmakaawa na lang ako kasi di pedeng hindi yun ang hand carry ko kasi i need a bag na may wheels para hilahin ko lang. buti na lang pinalusot, so oki na naka check in na kaming mag ina, kakahiya nga sa tumulong sa akin di ko nabigyan ng tip kaso sakto lang yung peso ko pang pay ng terminal fee at $100 dollar na buo lang pera ko. Humingi na lang ako ng depensa at nag thank you sa airport crew. Eto na bayaran ng terminal fee, nag umpisa ng mangulit si keogh nagmamadali pumasok, pagdating sa immigration mahaba pila , hala cge hila sya ng hila at nilalaro nya yung tali nuon sa pilahan, ang mahirap pa kasi may tali din si keogh binilan ko sya ng tali para sa amin dalawa at para may limit sya sa paglayo sa akin, laking tulong ng taling yun , kasi kapag nag aayos ako ng gamit alam kung within reach lang sya, kaso minsan umiikot sya sa tao, waaaaaaaaaaaahhh kakahiya sa tao kasi natali sla, alam nyo yung leash ng aso pero sa kamay namin mag ina, di ba kapag yung aso inikutan ka lagot kasi natali ka ganuon nangyari sa ibang tao sa amin, buti na lang at pa cute si keogh di sila nagagalit, sa kulit nya panay KEOGH DONT, KEOGH NO at KEOGH STOP , KEOGH PLS, hayyy buti na lang at di binibili ang pangalan ng anak ko kung hindi namulubi na ako.. pasok sa immigration punta na kami sa gate for china airline buti na lang maaga kami kaya medyo kahit nag ka aberya ng konti di kami nagmamadali. Habang naghihintay ng plane nag milk si keogh, saka eat biscuits, nilaro na nya lahat ng toys nya at naglakad na sya ng ilang beses saka lang kami mag board, pagdating sa plane buti na lang window side kami first time sakay ng plane ganda ng view , kakatuwa, pag angat ng plane , hingi ulit ng milk tapos nakatulog na si keogh buong 2 hrs and then baba kami TAIPEI Airport for our stop over, dahil natulog fully charge si keogh, lagot ako sa airport sabi ko kasi , intay kami ng 3hrs and 30mins bago sakay ulit ng plane. so heto na baba plane, sinundan ko lang ang flow ng tao kasi lilipat kami ng ibang terminal sa laki ng airport hati sya sa 2 so nag mini train kami , lakad , akyat, baba. nakakarating sa kabilang terminal , lakad ulit tapos 2 sides ulit sya mahaba yung each side kasing haba ng megamall (mega a at mega b magkasama) yun ang 1 sides (tapos same size sila nuong isang side pa). Ang major katangahan ko lang is maling side kami napunta imagine nilakad ni keogh yun kasi may energy pa sya kaso nuong pabalik napagod na umuupo na lang si keogh at ngumingiti kaya nilalaro ko na lang sya, kunwari habol nya ako, wawa nga si keogh eh di ko naman kayang buhatin kasi may hila ako sa ka may bitbit pa akong isang bag, dahan dahan at patigil tigil kami, saka may parang walkalator sa gitna kaso nuon tignan ko di umaandar asar talo ako , yun pala kapag apak mo aandar, aba malay ko di ba, first time, kami lang naglalakad mag ina kasi lahat ng kasabayan ko nanduon na, so lakad kami napansin ko na lang kung kailan malapit na kam , gumagana pala, hayyy katangahan talaga sa wakas nakarating kami sa tamang gate, intay ulit. May lumapit na mag asawang chinese old couple, di sila masyado marunong mag english, tinanong ako kung duon daw ba yung sa china airlines at kung anong time kasi naka paskil duon is military time di nya mainitindihan, explain ako, so oki na, etong si keogh naging malapit sa kanila kasama namin naghintay, umabot sa nagpapakarga na sya at sumasama, buti na lang mabait sila. tuwa din sila. yung daughter nya petition sila at pinoy daw yung asawa. di naman kami masyado nag usap kasi nga di sila masyado marunong english at di naman ako marunong mag chinese. so sakay na sa airplane at maganda pa may priority ang may dalang bata kaya una kaming nag board, kainis yung pwesto namin nsa gitna apatan at kami yung gitnang mag ina, katabi ko sa left is chinese guy na mukhang suplado, katabi ni keogh sa right is another chinese guy na mabait. Although oki sila, kaso hiya ako mag aalis sa upuan , hassle naman kaso no choice eh. so after 1 hour naka board sa plane sleep na si keogh buong flight, ang mahirap lang kasi sakop nya buong 2 seats kasi nakahiga sya so patagilid ako nakaupo at matulog, nanakit katawan ko, kapag gagalawin ko sya para umayos iyak sya, rinig sa buong plane . sa tagal ng tulog nya nangawit cguro nag iiyak no choice kundi isayaw, hala tayo at sinayaw ko sya kahit may turbulence.. mega mommy ako, 20 mins cguro ako nagsayaw sa plane bago ko sya binaba, hay naku kapagod talaga at sobrang kainip, parang natulog ka na , nagising at twice na kumain di ka pa din nakakarating sa patutunguhan mo.. finally nag landing na yung plane exactly 6:30 PM (US time,sat, june9), maliwanag pa, babaan sa plane nagising na si keogh, full of energy ulit, nagmamadali naman . Pagdating sa immigration haba ng pila . buti na lang pati yung para sa US residents /immigrants pinayagan na kami duon pumila kung hindi aabot kami ng 1 hour. Kainis pa yung ibang immigration officer ang bagal, nakasabayan ko pa nga si MAYOR LIM eh. Sayang wala akong camera nag pa-picture sana kami ni keogh, hehehe. Oki sa immigration officer, eto na kuhanan na ng luggage, pagpunta ko sa baggage claim area, OH MY GOD , mga ANAP sakto kumpol sila kumukuha ng baggage nila, WOW the smell talaga napaka untolerable, pagod ka na sa byahe tapos may batang makulit pa, hay talaga. Kinapalan ko na lang mukha ko nakiusap ako na kunin yun baggage ko sa isang indian na guy kasi si keogh sumasakay sa kuhanan mg luggage, malalaki kaya ng bags ko... buti a lang mabait yung indian guy kahit na may smell sya , basta mabuhat lang bags ko, oki na.. Nilagay nya pa sa cart, laking pasalamat ko talaga. Hala sige tulak palabas , sinakay ko na lang si keogh sa cart para di na magulit, aba labas na kami, akala ko anduon na si edwin nakangiti, ang loko wala LATE sila, o diba ang galing, medyo lingon lingon ako sa palagid ng mapagod umupo kami, sakto si keogh laro lang nanahimik yun pala gumagawa na ng milagro, nangamoy na sya, oki lang sna kasi binilinan ko sya pagdating na lang sya mag popo at least di ako nahirapan sa plane at di sya nangamoy duon, kaso nag alala ako kasi baka kapag puntahan namin ang CR which is nasa dulo ng side ng airport magka salisi kami ni edwin, deadma na lang muna, kung may makaamoy kay keogh na mabaho, deadma na lang sa kanila. Medyo naiinis na din ako hinanap namin si edwin sakto pagbalik namin anduon na sila sa tapat ng gate na nilabasan namin, si keogh buti na lang di pa iretable, lakad sya daldal lang ng daldal, hinarang sya ng ama nya for 2 secs tinitigan ni keogh si edwin nuon na recognize na nya sabay higpit ng yakap as in, ayaw bumitaw, mega na miss nya ama nya, so punta kami cr ayaw bumitaw sa ama nya nag iiyak kaso kailangan palitan ng diaper, habang change ng diaper iyak ng iyak akala mawawala yung ama nya.. hanggang makauwi kami sa house,pati pagbaba sa kotse nasa ama nya sya. Hay.. ngayon nag adjust pa si keogh, pagdating namin magdamag gising si keogh, tapos ng early morning nagpapalabas na kasi rinig nya yung mga birds, kaya lakad lakad silang mag ama sa harap ng house may maliit na lawn at may grass tuwang tuwa mag lakad si keogh. Grabe malamig here sa morning at evening sa tanghali mainit naman. Maganda at tahimik yung place, may malapit na park at palaruan, gustong gusto nga ni keogh mag laro duon, now pa lang sya nakaka adjust sa oras ng tulog.

As of me, still absorbing lahat, parang kailan lang nasa pinas ako, oki lang tumunganga kasi andyan ang nanay at tatay ko, now sa akin na lahat ang trabaho. Masaya na mahirap , pero at least kumpleto na kami, naghihinayang lang sana pede ko dalin parents ko agad kasi for sure matutuwa sila here. Ang bilis ng oras, haba ng araw 7pm na maliwanag pa din, nakakapanibago iba ibang nationalities ang nakakasalamuha mo dito. I still dont know what's our fututre here, but at least magkakasama kami.

Ang GOODNEWS sa amin ni edwin is naka-process na yung Green Card namin, inayos na ng company nya. So within a year and half GC Holder na kami =)

Another Sleepless Night

Usually, I have been sleeping late because, I want to surf, download or watch movies because this is my only free time. But this night, I've planned to sleep early because of my spa appointment this morning (2:00 AM already) together with my girlfriends. I am lying down but I cant sleep so I check my downloads, I got a message from an old friend, so I started talking to her to catch up what is new in her life. I am happy that we chat and hoping to be more in the future. I guess every sleepless nights have meanings, hope you find the reason behind them.

Zambales swimming

Last Saturday (Nov 4-5) , we went to Zambales together with my hubby's officemates. It was a long drive but worth it. We stayed at Tammy's Resort. The room is cheap and cozy. The Comfort room is big and clean. The Crews are friendly. The place is relaxing. (Php 1300 good for 4-6 person ) It has a two queen size beds, Php 200 for extra mattress. The food is ok, the price is just right but we need to wait a long time because they cook as you ordered. Sunday, back to Manila we passed by and ate lunch at The Coffee Shop (famous for large tacos) but I did not order tacos because I am hungry. The price is ok because they have a big servings. We also went to Subic and shop for chocolates at Pure gold =)

Holiday emptiness

Last night, we had an argument regarding his US trip. I told him that he better make it this year so that by February next year we can follow. We need to travel before Keogh's 2nd birthday because of the big difference on fare. But the final decision was Jan 1st week so its settled, but unfortunately his employer want him to be there by November 26, this news struck me because the feeling of leaving us before this holiday. I admit that I want him to leave before end of the year but now I do not want him to go....

Anyway, he will wear it on Monday (10/30/06) for the Office Halloween Party of his dad. Or maybe he will wear his Chinese costume but I need to look for a hat and shoes to match it.

Yippee. I got a cheap but cute costume for Keogh . It's a Robin Hood costume. I've also bought bow and candy bag. But the bow is not a match to the costume, I will try to go to Divisoria tomorrow to buy another bow (wooden style) that really match the robin hood costume... I am very excited tomorrow because he will wear it for my cousin's son birthday.

A dream come true

Eversince i'm a child i've always dream of going to US, and i thought that dream will never happen, so i stopped dreaming about it. But faith gave me a chance to fulfill my dream. My husband found work in California and he's leaving by the end of the year. By February, me and my son will follow. But yesterday, i woke up in my ecstacy of happiness when we went to the airport to accompany my sister-in-law, usually i dont go to the airport , because of the feeling of sending somebody you love is hard. When i looked at the departure area, the feeling of loneliness struck me, i got tears in my eyes. There and then i felt i dont want to go to US, and the feeling of leaving somebody you love is heart breaking.
